% Arabica Manila's Growth Since 2023
% Arabica made its debut in Bonifacio Global City in 2023, a vibrant business and lifestyle district, quickly becoming a viral favorite among coffee enthusiasts, creatives, and travelers. This momentum continued with the opening of % Arabica Manila Mitsukoshi BGC in July 2023, with the flagship % Arabica Manila BGC Roastery following suit in November 2023.
Since then, the brand has expanded to a new pop-up location at SM The Podium in Mandaluyong. % Arabica Manila The Podium now stands as the newest branch across Metro Manila, with further growth planned in 2026.
% Arabica also stands out for its commitment to quality at every step—from the beans and equipment used to the overall experience. Guided by its tagline, “See the World Through Coffee,” every % Arabica store is designed to deliver the same experience, no matter where in the world a customer visits. Kenneth Shoji explains this like how the Japanese cherish their tradition. For instance, the menu of traditional sushi in Japan has not changed over 200 years. The core of the DNA is timelessness and minimalism. Each cup reflects the brand’s belief that good coffee doesn’t need to be complicated—just thoughtfully made.
The Standard of Timelessness
At its core, % Arabica is built around coffee craftsmanship and a shared global culture. Through every cup, the brand brings a refined Japanese café experience to the Philippines. By upholding the same unchanging excellence in coffee making, % Arabica has successfully reintroduced a timeless Kyoto standard to the local coffee scene. This dedication to precision ensures that as the brand grows into 2026.
